It all started with a few guys in an apartment in 1999. Then, a tiny warehouse and a couple of pickup trucks. In 2004, co-owners Matthew Koch and Thomas Auchenbach incorporated AKA and expanded into commercial fencing. With the growth of their families came the growth of their business and four years later they moved the facility across town to a 4 acre lot. AKA now includes a bunch of hardworking fence installers and a few spunky office staff. Installing fences since their teenage years, Matt and Tom have over 40 years experience combined and have completed thousands of projects in Berks and surrounding counties. AKA is OSHA certified, licensed and insured in PA and all our projects are owner supervised. We are a community involved company sponsoring local sports teams, clubs and non-profits.
